Making a start on building fallout 4 pipe pistol

I'm planning on making a bunch gaming weapons out of real materials. While sizing up the fallout 4 pipe pistol I found 16mm (5/8") steel pipe is the perfect size for nerf darts, so used the barrel as starting point to scale up dimensions. As well as fully realistic materials I should also be able to make up a nerf shooting mechanism to go with it!

I'll keep the main body wood and steel, and think I will make the firing mechanism from brass/aluminium/delrin as I work it out along the way.
